CLAT Exam

What is the CLAT Exam?

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a prestigious, national-level entrance exam for students aspiring to join undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at India’s 24 National Law Universities (NLUs). The CLAT is administered by the Consortium of National Law Universities, which represents these universities.

Beyond university admissions, several prominent institutions and companies also utilize CLAT scores for recruitment purposes.

For the academic year 2024-2025, all admissions to the 5-year integrated LL.B. and LL.M. programs will be through CLAT 2025. While the final dates are yet to be fully confirmed, the Consortium has already announced the date for CLAT 2025.
